DJs
Patxi Manez

A passionate milonguero, dancer and tango DJ for around 20 years. He loves to feel the heartbeat of every dancer on the floor. His varied musical selections range from orchestras of the “Guardia Vieja” period to the more modern sounds of classic “Golden Age” performers, which form the backbone of his playlists. His selections often feature Canaro, D’Arienzo, Di Sarli and Troilo.
He currently lives and works in Alicante, Spain, where you can regularly meet him and enjoy his music at the “Lo de Toya” milonga. He is also a frequent guest DJ at other milongas and tango events in the region.
Piotr R. Sidorowicz

As a young man, Piotr organised student events and performed at them as a DJ. In 2010, he discovered Argentine tango and began learning to dance. Fascinated by the music and inspired by many conversations with the late Michel Auzat, he began studying the art of tango DJing under Rafael (Rafa) Baere in 2019. He went on to deepen his knowledge of tango orchestras, their history and styles, studying with Horacio (Pebete) Godoy, Brian Mujika, Pietro Galasso and other respected DJs in Buenos Aires. He regularly plays at milongas in Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Warsaw. He has also been a guest DJ at Si Sos Brujo in Buenos Aires, the Toronto Spring Tango Marathon in 2024 and 2025, and Tango Maya Festival 2026 in Cancún, Mexico. Piotr also served as a competition DJ at the Canadian qualifying rounds for the TANGOBA World Cup in 2024 and 2025.
Claudio Ranieri

Don’t miss the fun! Will you be there to experience the magic? His passion for tango and music began in 2003, when the fascination of improvisation and wonderful music made a lasting impression on him.
Since 2020, he has devoted much of his attention to tango music. Initially, he began selecting music for milongas in Milan and Calabria for his own enjoyment. Over time, he started appearing at events across Europe and Asia, including Vietnam.
His repertoire includes traditional compositions from the “Golden Age”, but he also enjoys building energy and enriching the atmosphere with contemporary orchestras, dynamic sounds and more recent melodies.
He follows time-tested principles: each tanda consists of four coherent, harmonious tracks, usually played by the same orchestra and, where possible, featuring the same singer, all sharing a common musical mood.
Wherever he goes, he brings joy and positive energy! He will be DJing at MCTM 2027 in Brzeg.
