Once you are in front of the castle gate, go to the reception desk of the Książ Hotel – the building is on the left. There you will find our team. After checking the registration list, you will receive a wristband thanks to which the Castle security will let you inside. The way to the place of marathon will be signed.
If you are staying in a nearby hotel, we recommend taxis, which are not expensive in Wałbrzych. The taxi driver will take you to the castle gate. If you are staying at Hotel Maria, you can also go for a walk around the beautiful surroundings at this time of year.
There is a large parking lot on the right side of the road. From there it’s a short walk to the gate. You can try to enter the parking lot closer to the Castle, but its availability depends on the number of tourists staying in Książ.
There is a Książęca restaurant in the Książ Hotel’s building, and the other restaurant in the Ośla Brama Hotel. They have inside and outside places in both. Restaurant menu change seasonally. We like the food and the small garden in Ośla Brama. The restaurant at the Maria hotel is also worth visiting, the menu there has always been interesting.
