REGULATIONS

  1. General provisions
    1. The Magic Castle Marathon, hereinafter referred to as the “Marathon”, is an event organized by the Magia Tanga Foundation based in Brzeg, 15 Wierzbowa St. KRS 0000614735, hereinafter referred to as the Foundation.
    2. The event venue: Książ Castle, 1 Piastów Śląskich, Wałbrzych, 58-306.
    3. Duration of the event: 15-17.05.2026
    4. The Marathon program is available on the official website of the event: magiccastle.magiatanga.com/en/
    5. The provisions of these regulations constitute an integral part of the registration for the Marathon and apply to each Participant throughout the entire eve
  2. How to register
    1. Complete the application form available from HERE
    2. You will receive an automated message confirming your registration, which does not constitute acceptance for the Marathon.
    3. You can register as a couple or solo.
    4. When registering as a couple, your partner completes the form independently.
    5. Remember that the applications sent by couples are considered first.
    6. By registering, you only pay for the participation.
    7. The cost of participation depends on the date of your registration.
    8. In the form, provide data that can be confirmed with your ID card when you first appear at the event.
  3. Terms of registration, payment and cancellation
    1. Within 10 days of the registration, we will send an e-mail with confirmation of participation and payment terms.
    2. Cancellation is possible up to 10 days from the date of receipt of the payment in the organizer’s bank.
    3. After this deadline, we propose two solutions:
      1. Transfer your participation to another person by informing the organizer by email: magiatanga@gmail.com (this person should register via the registration form and pay the participation fee).
      2. Refund of the participation fee (the amount of the refund depends on the costs incurred in organizing the event), not exceeding 70% of the payment.
    4. The refund will be transferred to the account, that the payment was made, within 14 days of the notification.
    5. The Foundation does not cover bank commissions, card payments or currency conversion costs.
  4. Rules applicable during the Marathon
    1. At the first entrance to the Castle, you will receive a wristband.
    2. The band entitles you to participate in the Marathon, wearing it during the entire event is obligatory.
    3. Each participant of the Marathon, is obliged to comply with the principles of personal culture and social norms.
    4. Persona under the influence of alcohol, psychoactive substances, or exhibiting aggressive behavior will not be permitted to enter the Marathon premises.
    5. Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire Marathon facility and in all hotel rooms.
  5. Liability of the Foundation
    1. The Foundation is responsible for the proper course of the Marathon in accordance with the program.
    2. If the Marathon does not take place due to reasons attributable solely to the Foundation, the Foundation shall refund the entire amount paid by the Participant within 14 business days from the date of the event.
    3. If the Marathon does not take place due to reasons beyond the Foundation’s control, e.g. pandemic, castle fire, natural disaster, etc., the Participant is not entitled to compensation or to refund any fees related to participation in the Marathon. All payments shall be transferred to the next edition, participants will be informed about it via e-mail.
    4. The Foundation is not liable for any damage to the Participant’s health caused by the actions of other Participants.
    5. Participants bear full financial responsibility for any damage they inflicted to the property on the Marathon premises.
    6. The Foundation is not responsible for Participants’; belongings that may be lost, damaged or stolen during the Marathon
  6. Final provisions
    1. The Foundation reserves the right to introduce changes to the regulations and program of the event.
    2. The Foundation reserves the right to remove a person violating the Terms & Conditions from the Marathon venue, without the right to return to the Marathon area or to demand reimbursement of any expenses incurred in connection with participation in the event, including the participation fee.
    3. Any disputes that may arise from participation in the Marathon shall be resolved by the court competent for the seat of the Foundation.
    4. The Terms & Conditions are available on the website: magiccastle.magiatanga.com/en/terms-and-conditions/ and at the seat of the Foundation.
    5. In matters not regulated by the Terms & Conditions, the provisions of the Polish Civil Code shall apply.
    6. The Terms & Conditions come into force on the day of their announcement and are valid until the event is officially closed by the Foundation.

By sending the registration form for Magic Castle Tango Marathon, you agree to the processing of your personal data contained in the form by the Magia Tanga Foundation.

GDPR

  1. By submiting the registration form for the Magic Castle Tango Marathon, you agree to the processing of your personal data contained in the registration form by the Magia Tanga Foundation.
  2. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to conclude a contract with the Foundation.
  3. The administrator of personal data of magiatanga.com portal users is the Magia Tanga Foundation based in Brzeg, 49-304, flat 8,15 Wierzbowa Street, entered in the register of entrepreneurs kept by the District Court in Opole, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under No. KRS 0000614735, (hereinafter the “Foundation”).   4. The Foundation processes personal data for the purposes of:
    1. providing the booking service for milongas and other events offered by the Foundation via the website www.magiatanga.com. The legal basis for data processing is the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR),
    2. sale of workshops, milongas and other events and products offered by the Foundation – the legal basis for data processing is the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR),
    3. marketing – the legal basis for data processing is the legitimate interest of the Foundation – marketing of its own products and services (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR),
    4. consideration of complaints, investigation and defense in the event of mutual claims – the legal basis for data processing is the legitimate interest of the Foundation – (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR),
    5. sending commercial information electronically – only if the User consents. The legal basis for data processing is consent (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
  5. Personal data will be processed for the period necessary to perform the contract, and after this period for the purposes and for the time and to the extent required by law or to secure any claims, or until the consent is withdrawn.
  6. The recipients of personal data will be:
    1. entities providing and supporting the Foundation’s IT systems to operate the magiatanga.com portal and entities providing services related to the current activities of the Foundation.
  7. We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area.
  8. Each person, to the extent derived from legal provisions, has the right to access their data and rectify, delete or limit processing, the right to object to processing, the right to transfer data, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time by contacting with us at magiatanga@gmail.com. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

In case of any doubts related to the processing of personal data, each person may contact the Foundation with a request for information. Notwithstanding the above, everyone has the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
